01 What is Oaxaca Auténtico?
We are an independent editorial space that documents the culture, crafts and traditions of Oaxaca. We publish stories, recipes, interviews and reports written from the inside.
02 Who writes the articles?
Our team is made up of writers, photographers and collaborators who live in Oaxaca or have deep ties with its communities. We work directly with artisans, traditional cooks and master craftspeople.
03 Is the content available in Spanish?
Yes. All our content is published in Spanish and English so that the stories of Oaxaca reach more people around the world.
04 How can I receive new stories?
You can subscribe to our monthly newsletter. We send an email on the last Friday of each month with new stories, recipes and interviews. No spam, no sales.
05 How often do you publish?
Every Friday we publish a new story. The newsletter goes out on the last Friday of each month with a roundup of everything published.
06 Can I collaborate with Oaxaca Auténtico?
Yes! We're always looking for writers, photographers and cultural collaborators based in Oaxaca. Email us at contacto@oaxacaautentico.com and tell us about your work.
07 Do you sell products?
We used to have a shop, but we've decided to focus exclusively on editorial content and storytelling. We may recommend artisans and their workshops in our stories.
08 How is Oaxaca Auténtico funded?
Through our passion for Oaxacan culture. We're an independent project, not backed by tourism boards or commercial interests.
